The course will consist of 6 modules covering the 6 written chapters and 6 video lectures that will be uploaded into the users account. The course will also conduct a post-test after each module. The written chapter will enhance the knowledge and skills of the physician theoretically while the video lectures serve the purpose of classroom instruction. Additional reading is recommended to the participants to further enhance their knowledge.
An online examination is instructed on successful completion of all modules. The grading system is based on the post-tests and the final online examination for which the participant must receive a score of at least 70% to be eligible for the Certificate of Postgraduate Course in Cardiology.

Dr. Harrington is a faculty member of the Womens Hearth Health Program and Cardio-Obstetrics Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is an associate program director of the MGH Cardiovascular Fellowship Program. Her clinical and research interests include cardiovascular disease in women, cardioobstetrics, preventive cardiology, and noninvasive cardiovascular imaging. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, echocardiography and coronary CT angiography. She is the current governor of the Massachusetts chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
